Maybe you’ve seen it on tele or you’ve heard friends talking about it but what is this Lindy Hop dance??
Lindy Hop is a social partner dance that was first popular in the US from the 1920s-40s. It is the original “swing dance” and is usually danced to swing music. The dance had a revival in the late 1990s and since then has become a world wide phenomenon, with dance scenes springing up in cities all around the globe. It’s a tremendously versatile dance that can be slow, chilled out, and sophisticated or wild and high energy or anything in between.
