Musicality Course
Everything is better with music! Learn how to make simple changes for big effects so that all your dances feel unique to the music.
This course will give you a better understanding of the music, it’s common features and how to work with the music when you dance. It will include both how to be musical in and of yourself but also how to work with a partner to inspire and take inspiration from each other and the music.
Beginners Classes are back Wednesday 9th Sept
Buy classes individually or buy our 6 class pass. 7:30 pm every Wednesday and you can start any week you like.
How do our 6 class passes work?
You get 6 classes for the price of 5.
They are very flexible: You have 4 months to use all 6 classes.
No need to plan ahead: Just turn up and we’ll mark it down.
Hot Charleston Beginners
Come along to Hot Charleston! It’s a solo charleston workshop, where you’ll learn a short charleston routine to awesome music.
BEGINNERS: no dance experience required, just having good fun charleston dancing. We’ll learn the basic steps, focus on repetition and dancing it to the music.
Perform on Stage!
Learn an original solo charleston choreography by Rob and perform it on stage on the 21st Nov! This is part of the DSL Showcase, showing off what dance styles are taught at DSL, it is always a blast!
Difficulty level will be improver+ but I’m always about the enthusiasm more than anything. There will be at least 5 workshops, though you do not have to make every workshop and you don’t have to perform to come to the workshops.
